Соня Шавтикова

Sonya Shavtikova, from the village of Psyzh, is the contemporary keeper of the Abaza musical tradition. Sonia received an accordion and instrumental and song repertoire from her older relatives and friends. She developed her style playing performing for gatherings, weddings, sends off events for the army, and other holidays. Out of her 67 years, 48 have been devoted to music and although Shavtikova does not have a conservative education, she is a professional musician - she earns a living through music.
This album is a collection of lyrical, feast, and late Soviet songs, popular in the Abaza region
